I thought it might be a good idea to have a thread solely for ABBA Documentaries. There have been quite a few over the years - and all are usually available on youtube. Some are very good, others pretty bland - but there is no denying that a documentary about ABBA gets everyone's attention To make it simple for everyone to view these documentaries, if they choose, I thought we might add the videos here - get them all in one place. So to kick this off, I will start with the documentaries that were shown on TV in the UK yesterday. The first is ABBA At The BBC. It begins in 1974 with their first Top of the Pops appearance and we even get to see the band entertaining holidaymakers in Torbay in a 1975 Seaside Special. There are many classic ABBA tunes from the 1979 BBC special ABBA in Switzerland, plus their final BBC appearance on the Late Late Breakfast show in 1982.

Next we have The Joy Of ABBA.
'Combining European musical influences, perfect production and lyrics of love and loss, ABBA made us fall in love with the sound of Swedish melancholy. This documentary explores the music of ABBA and chronicles how they conquered both Sweden and Britain in the face of constant criticism.'

I guess I can't ignore the documentary that I am in - it was aired for the 5th time just recently here - and rated almost as high as the Aria Awards ! This is not the expected end result for this documentary - and there are many that have issues with the whole thing. But I am aware that plenty of fans enjoy this doco - so here it is: ABBA: Bang A Boomerang:

A couple of these are no longer available to view. Any chance of a reboot?
