In 2014 a German ABBA Fan - Benny - held a Poll of the most popular UK & USA No.1's of the 1970's.
The Poll was held on the UKMIX Chart Site. Amazingly the Top 3 were exactly the same as in the
ITV 'Nation's Favourite No.1's' Poll:,
1)...Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen
2)...Dancing Queen - ABBA
3)...Bridge Over Troubled Water - Simon & Garfunkel.
However, in Benny's Poll you could Vote for more than one No.1 by the same Act. All 7 of ABBA's
1970's UK No.1's were Voted into the Top 50 - Waterloo was 46th, The Name Of The Game was 32nd,
Take A Chance On Me was 25th, Mamma Mia was 14th, Fernando was 10th, & Knowing Me, Knowing You
was 7th. Then we had Dancing Queen in 2nd place.
