Did the Olivia TV special get shown on British TV in 1978? I don't remember seeing it at the time.

Yes, definitely. I remember seeing it. My brother recorded it (on cassette recorder as we didn’t have a video recorder at the time). BBC Genome website confirms two showings: Monday 11 Sept 1978 BBC1 Monday 19 Feb 1979 BBC2   |

OK then I must have seen it but I don't remember seeing it at all. As a family we don't get A video recorder until 1980.
