One of my all time favourite artists.. saw her in concert, fantastic .....

Such an icon, such a survivor. I saw her live in the 90s - I think it was the 24/7 tour and she was phenomenal. Two solid hours during which she barely paused, stayed in fantastic voice and had the crowd eating from her hand. She's had a tough time, what with ill health and her son's death. But she leaves a great musical legacy.

One of the best concerts I've seen, totally packed stadium and electric from start to finish.. great fun....
It gets to become sad when the great icons pass and we get older.....way of the world.....
