In the past I have heard TWTIA on Eastenders and this week It’s Dancing Queen. With the flashback episodes that’s twice this week so far. And maybe more to come. Good to hear them still getting played in the soaps and not just current artists. Amazing when you think DQ was first released 44 years ago and TWTIA 40 years ago.

There’s way too much going off in Eastenders this week. So many characters in peril and this darting back and forth with the timeline is a bit annoying. Plus there’s so far no news on the (very lovely) Callum Highway. What on Earth is Ben doing to save him?
I keep expecting an iceberg, it’s reminding me so much of the film Titanic. One of the first times I’ve heard Dancing Queen ahead of very bad things happening.

I'm not sure but I think I heard The Winner Takes It All on Coronation Street once. I've definitely heard the odd ABBA song in the soaps (on the rare occasion I tune in).
Talking of ABBA's music being used in tv shows, last night I watched the very first episode of Black Mirror, Fitfteen Million Merits, and I Have A Dream is featured. Not ABBA's version, though.
Just letting you know.
ABBA's music really is woven into the fabric of society.

It is comforting to hear that ABBA are being appreciated and great that their songs will always be played on television and radio.
