Cher has revealed 9 of the 10 ABBA Songs on her ABBA Covers Album.
Track 10 she calls a 'Mystery Track'.
There is already speculation that ABBA themselves may sing with her on Track 10.
Or it could be a brand new Song by Benny and Bjorn.
Cher is so enthusiastic about ABBA that she has already said that she will do a 2nd ABBA Covers
Album at a later date.
The 9 ABBA Songs from Album 1 are not the less well known ABBA Songs. They are all from 'ABBA Gold'
and the 1st 'Mamma Mia! Film.

I do understand, marketing etc, but why oh why the same old tracks time and time again, my turn to moan...lol 😀
I love her voice and I'm pretty sure she will do a good job, but apart from the mysterious track 10, there's nothing much to get excited about, and track 10 could be a uptempo Fernando, 12 inch disco mix ( for those that remember that far back..lol )
With over a 100 tracks to choose from we get...........

Graham -- There is a viewpoint, (regarding ABBA), that only the best known Songs will sell.
Cher has obviously looked at the Track List of 'ABBA Gold' to choose the 9 Tracks for her
ABBA Covers Album. As well as the Songs that were in the 1st 'Mamma Mia!' Film and the
Stage Show. Those 3 sources have made the most cash for ABBA/Benny and Bjorn for many
Years now.
Cher has played it safe and chosen ABBA Songs from those sources.
The 'Mystery Track' could be Cher Feat. ABBA. (A New recording or 'Modern Technology'
inserting Cher's vocals into an old ABBA Hit).
Or it could be a brand New Song that Benny and Bjorn have especially written for her.
Or it could be a Cher cover of an old ABBA Hit - but with Benny and Bjorn playing on
the backing music.
Whatever it is, Cher must have a reason for not revealing more. I don't think that it is just
her covering another old ABBA Hit. That is not special enough to keep it a secret. Some
ABBA and Cher Fans think that it is just another cover of an ABBA Song. 'Summer Night
City' and 'Knowing Me, Knowing You' have been suggested. But, why would she keep
just another ABBA cover a secret? It makes no sense. Unless it has something that the
other 9 Tracks don't have...
Cher has already said that 'My Love, My Life' will be one of her ABBA covers on her 2nd
ABBA Album. It looks like both Albums are to feature Songs from the 'Mamma Mia!' Films.
She is probably too scared to try ABBA Songs that were not in either Film. She sees it as
too risky.
