I would like to ask other members of the forum as to which solo album by Agnetha or Frida is their favourite or the most listened to. Mine is, "A" by Agnetha, released in 2013. When I first purchased a copy I instantly fell in love with it and played the disc over and over. Apart from "A", I , also own four of Agnetha's solo albums on CD format. These are "Wrap Your Arms Around Me" , "Eyes Of A Woman" , "I Stand Alone" and "My Colouring Book". I have the LP formats of the first three by Agnetha. Also, I have only one CD of Agnetha's solo songs in Swedish which I believe is a collection of songs earlier in her career. As for Frida's solo records, I own "Something's Going On" and "Shine" on LP format. I guess I am rather naughty has I haven't any of Frida's on CD format. When ABBA were about to stop working together in 1982, I read a rather interesting article in the "ABBA" magazine where apparently Frida had been discussing a possible collaboration with Sting but , alas , nothing transpired. That would have been interesting. Agnetha , also, expressed an interest to work with Barry Gibb but again nothing happened beyond a discussion. That too would have been exciting. I was delighted when Gary Barlow met Agnetha for the first time during the broadcasted documentary promoting her solo album "A". "I Should've Followed You Home" is one of my favourite tracks on the record. Their voices blend so well together. Gary managed to successfully coax Agnetha to perform with him on "Children In Need" which was great to watch. How he managed to pull that out of the hat is amazing. A performance to remember. "Take That" meet "ABBA" ( sort of ). I was disappointed that the single wasn't a commercial success. Never mind, "A" reached number six in the UK album charts and made a big impact across Europe. Gary has expressed his admiration of ABBA quite a few times. If only we would be fortunate to anticipate confirmation of a brand new ABBA album in 2020 for definite. Now, that would be something! With that , I will sign off for now.
